PARENTS
We are in need of parent volunteers/chaperones for the Shad Derby Parade and Memorial Day Parade in Windsor. The Shad Derby parade is Saturday, May 16 and the Memorial Day Parade is Monday, May 25. Duties are securing water from local vendors and dispensing to students while they march. We would also like a parent to take photos to help update our website.
We are in need of parents to secure food for our end of the year picnic held on Tuesday, June 9 at Northwest Park. Mr. Ortiz is also exploring of getting more businesses to sponsor an award (typically a plaque, gift certificate, money or scholarship) and would like volunteers to solicit some businesses.
We also need parents to help at our upcoming concerts. The Night of Jazz will take place Thursday, May 7 at 7PM, and the Spring Instrumental Concert will take place on Thursday, May 21 at 7PM. The following things need parent assistance:
Selling Windsor Band Items (Jazz T-Shirts and Polo Shirts)
Decorating for both concerts
Collecting Donations at the door
Selling tickets for the 50/50 raffle
Acquiring items for the silent raffle/auction
